Abstract

Magnetocardiograpy (MCG) is a non-contact sensing modality that measures magnetic fields generated by electrical conduction in the heart. While the magnetic shielding required by traditional MCG limits its widespread adoption, unshielded MCG may enable practical triage of patients suspected of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) in the emergency department (ED). This feasibility study was IRB-approved and registered at ClinicalTrials.gov.
